Services Team - Customer Service Representative


The National Instruments Services Team has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative in Shanghai, China. The successful candidate for this position will work with a wide and diverse set of people and resources to assure customer and project expectations are met.  The candidate will primarily work from the NI China branch to support specific Global Service customer opportunities.  This role will be responsible for a high mix of duties including direct customer support, logistics, ordering, and repair processes.

In support of these efforts, you will work closely with the following NI personnel: 

- NI China Operations Team

- NI’s Global Maintenance & Hardware Services team

- NI Manufacturing in Hungary, China, and Malaysia

- Logistics providers in region

 

Responsibilities:   

- Customer Purchase Order Review and Check

- Order Entry and Follow Up

- Coordination with Sales, Corporate and Customer

- Inventory and Shipping Logistics Management

- Order Analysis and Report Generation

- Handling Repair and Support Requests for Key Customers

- Definition of Custom Processes to Meet Specific Customer Needs

 

Requirements: 

- Bachelor degree in International Trade, Economics, Business, English

- Outgoing Personality and Teamwork spirit

- Customer Friendly Attitude and Understanding of Customer Communications

- Quick Learner and Excellent Execution Skill

- Ability to Manage Multi-Tasks and Communicate Status

- Superior Written & Oral English is required

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

- Knowledge of Import & Export logistics is preferred

- Experience with Oracle Applications is a plus
